This grand embroidered curtain, an excellent example of Chinese
workmanship, is approximately seventyfive years old.
This curtain, in the size of 3.20 x 1.45 mtr. has an embroidery, on
red satin cloth in real Jari. Human figures in different expressions and
gestures are handsomely embroidered in pure Jari. The eyes of the
individual figures express different emotions. In the upper part of this
curtain the auspicious Chinese bird 'Fang-Van' can be seen. In the
central part, an emblem in Chinese letters, and in the lower portion,
the holy animal 'Fu-Chu', all embroidered in Jari, can be seen.
