Property Tax Relief
Surat Municipal Corporation offers
property tax rebate to it’s advance tax payers in every
official year @10% and 7% for the month of April and May
respectively subject to prior sanction of the competent
authority i.e. the General Board.
Total 1,42,614 tax payers have availed the benefit of
rebate of Advance Property Tax payment and incidence of
Advance Property Tax rebate has been to the tune of Rs.
2,38,86,572/- for the official year 2006-07. Further
1,69,770 tax payers have availed the benefit of rebate
of Advance Property Tax and the incidence of Advance
Property Tax rebate has been to the tune of Rs.
2,57,72,966/- for the current fiscal. |

Department of Zoo &
Aquarium
Special concession is
granted in the entry fee to the school/college students
visiting zoo in group on behalf of their institution.
Concession in the entry fee is also granted to the
senior citizen, persons from women protection centre,
orphanage, handicaps and mentally retarded institutes,
juvenile home, etc.
