(VIII) A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public

The General Board meets once in a month and the public can witness the proceedings through the public gallery with the written consent of Municipal Councilors & Municipal Secretary .Standing Committee and special/adhoc committees meet at regular intervals of time and it is not open to public participation. All the proceedings of these committees are public documents and are available to the public on the payment of prescribed fees from the Record Branch of SMC.
